Our Adjustable Uprights and Crossbars (Drape Supports) are rated to carry 35 pounds (22.65kg) evenly distributed over the Crossbar (Drape Support).

HOW THE UPRIGHT WORKS?

The slip-lock collar assembly locks automatically when the inner pole is raised vertically to the desired height. As a vertical load is applied downward, the ball-taper lock feature locks tighter. The more pressure applied downward the tighter it will lock. To release lock, simply raise the inner pole slightly and lift the release ring. For safety, hold the inner pole firmly while raising or lowering the height. Our Adjustable Uprights have a 2" Diameter.

  Uprights may require additional reinforcements for stability (such as sandbags, attachment to a stable structure, etc.). Those assembling the uprights will bear the responsibility of deeming when additional reinforcement is necessary.
  
  Crossbars enter a slot on the upright and gravity will weigh it down to settle the structure in place. It is the responsibility of those assembling the crossbars to determine if they require additional reinforcements, such as a zip tie or tie downs, to ensure greater stability.

I would have said EXCELLENT but my order was delayed big time but out of the shops control due to the recent shops being stuck in the water with all the worlds goods on them. I was called and given an explanation and options on a refund. I chose to wait because I still needed my items regardless.
